It rained off and on yesterday and it was really weird because it was still beautiful outside. I caught this on my way home and had to pull over and take a picture. I love it when you can literally see it raining in an area far away.

Day 242...A Rose by any other name, is still a rose... 31 days....ughh! That's how many days I've missed on my Picture a Day Project! :(
I was doing so well! My life is done being totally crazy, I'm all moved and settled into my new house, and I have my son back at home with me in Utah...so I promised my honey and my son that I would start doing my picture a day again!
LOL...I don't think you're supposed to restart this project, but I don't care I'm going too 'cause I miss doing it! ;)

So many rainbows the last couple of weeks here! Whenever I see one that song runs through my mind. I was out running and saw this double rainbow over by a church in our neighborhood. I took tons of pictures of it with my iphone, put my phone away, then turned the corner and looked up to see this view with the flag and the rainbows. Had to take some more! Pretty cool!

This was an absolutely stunning sunset on Saturday night at the Rodeo. Breath taking isn't it?
Pictures don't do it justice, you definitely had to see it for yourself. The sun rays were going all the way across the sky. I was in awe!

This is one of the poems my daddy wrote to my sisters and I before he passed away. To my sweet daddy, I love you and miss you everyday of my life! I'd give anything just to hear your voice!

The Poem:

To My Girls,
If tomorrow the Lord were to call me home,
I don't think I'd be very glad.
There's too much left down here to do,
To leave it undone would be sad.
But still, if I simply had no other choice,
Than to leave this world of mine.
I'd be happy and proud knowing I'd left
Three beautiful daughters behind.
Somehow, before the beginning of time,
The lord must have been pleased with me.
He sent me these three precious girls to raise,
Full of beauty for all to see.

10 things about me:
1-Totally ridiculous, stupid, weird stuff happens to me all the time! I'm a ra-tard!
2-I laugh even harder when I'm trying to explain why I'm laughing!
3-I've had the same BFF since 4th grade! (I won't say how many years that is cuz it makes me feel super old). I love my Bestie!!
4- I have a foot fetish! Don't come around me with dirty, holey socks, cuz I'll rip them off of you! (no seriously I will. Many people have already experienced this).
5- I really, really like to think that I am always right...which lets face it, MOST of the time I am! heehee ;)
6-I'm a total chapstick addi! I offered my son some chapstick years ago, and he said "no thanks mom, I don't want to become addicted like you." LOL
7-I'm a goof! I clap my hands together in front of me when I'm super duper happy ;)
8-I'm not high maintenance however, I am kinda...maybe just a little bit of a princess.
9-My life, although wonderful, has definitely not been an easy one! But I am one damn strong woman because of it, and I appreciate all of the beauty and love that surrounds me in my life!
And last, but certainly not least;
10-My son is my absolute pride and joy...and the reason I was put on this earth <3
